Now back to my hands! The mission I was chosen for gave me the opportunity to try O’Keeffes Working Hands Hand Cream for free! Ahhhh! Sound the trumpets! I had seen this product in hardware stores and chocked it up to a cream for guys. Why I would think it was only for guys I have no idea! But I was so wrong!
This hand cream is for anyone who suffers from dry or cracked hands. If your hands are not that bad- lucky you! But this product would also be valuable in helping your hands stay soft and subtle as time goes by.
I was given the task of taking a 2 week challenge to see if O’Keeffes Working Hands could make a difference to my extremely dry hands. I actually tore the package open as soon as it arrived and slathered on some cream. Oh my gosh! The relief was instant!! O’Keeffes states the product will provide relief and help retain moisture after a few days use. I love the consistency of this hand cream. It feels more like a hand salve then an actual lotion. My skin soaked it up immediatly. It did not feel oily or greasy after using O’Keeffes and there is no scent. I stopped using scented moisturizers a long time ago as they tended to actually dry my hands out more than help them.
So, the relief was immediate after using O’Keeffes Working Hands but how would it hold up after a little bit of time. Would I need to keep reapplying the cream every few minutes to keep my hands feeling good? Nooooope! In fact the cream kept my hands feeling moisturized until I would wash them or have them in water. Happy Dance!!
This product was working great when my hands felt dry so I stopped using all other lotions and oils. I had been using Rosehip oil at night which helped a bit but left my hands feeling super greasy and never really made a huge difference on my extremely dry spots. I switched out using the O’Keeffes Working Hands before bed and voila! I woke up with happy well moisturized hands. After using the product for about a week my poor left thumb started looking and feeling better. The O’Keeffes was not only relieving my extremely dry hands but it was actually repairing them!!! I started feeling girly and using nail polish to show off my moisturized hands. After two weeks of use my hands seemed to be better. They did not dry out immediatly after washing them or being in the cold. This stuff works guys and literally lives up to it’s claims!
